how do i get a membership?
you can either purchase a membership card online and pick it up at O3 stress-free, or you could just rock up and our receptionist will get you sorted on the spot.
how do memberships work?
our memberships are similar to a gym’s. by subscribing, you’re automatically charged every week to stay motivated. some membership cards allow you to bring a friend, some offer food & drinks credits, parking, and other perks. shop around and find the best fit for you!
what are o-coins and how do they work?
o-coins are our own digital currency that can be spent on food, drinks, merch, anything within the O3 economy. when scanned in, you earn 1 o-coin every hour just by staying inside our workspace. once you have enough o-coins, you can go on a shopping spree!
can i pause my membership?
the white card and black card lets you pause up to 4 weeks a year! because the brokie card only is only a 2 week committment, it cannot be paused.

can i upgrade my membership?
yes! you can email us on friend@o3space.org or we can process your upgrade in person at O3 in person.
can i cancel my membership anytime?
if you have passed the minimum commitment term of your card (2 weeks for brokie, 3 months for white & black), then you may cancel your membership in person by talking to our receptionist or email us on friend@o3space.org.
why are your memberships always sold out?
because of capacity limits! if we oversubscribe on memberships, we risk violating health & safety requirements, so we cap our memberships based on how big our space is.
why should i pay for membership?
finding a great work environment is one of the best investments you can make. it’s boring to work from home or inside libraries, it’s distracting to work inside normal cafes, and it’s expensive to work inside co-working offices (upwards of $50 a day). O3 memberships start from $1.50/day - no workspace is more affordable.
do i need to be a member to try O3?
nope! our cafe is open to the anyone, member or not. our workspace is designed as a member-only area to optimise experience. however, new-comers can still try the workspace out if you’re coming for the first time.
what are your opening hours?
our hours differ based on our branch and time of the year. we keep it updated on google and on our physical locations page. you can check the hours for each location.
do you have parking?
we have parking at the back, front and upstairs reserved for our black card members (around 18 spots). street parking is cheap and plentiful around carlton gore road, and is free after 6pm weekdays and all day on weekends.
do you have daily passes?
we don’t have daily passes anymore, but we do offer a limited number of free trials each day for first-comers. our cafe is also open to all!
do you have capacity issues?
we only offer 500 memberships at O3 newmarket, so while there may times where we get busier than usual, our membership count is constantly monitored so that we don’t explode.

what are oysters?
oysters are our digital work pets. you collect them automatically as you spend time scanned inside our workspace, and then earn you o-coins every hour you can spend on food & drinks. if you work long enough, you can use your points to buy oysters!
is the cafe open to everyone?
yes! our cafe is open to everyone. we have delicious bagels & coffee.
what is specialty coffee?
specialty coffee is just fancy jargon for insanely great coffee made with insanely great beans. that’s what O3 is about. we focus on bringing out the subtle flavour notes of the coffee beans themselves, rather than watering them down and adding a tonne of sugar like Starbucks.
do you cater to vegans/vegetarians/gluten-free people?
yup. our staff’s favourite foods are pretty much all vegetarian/vegan. additionally all bagels can be made gluten free. check out our menu for more details.
what types of milk do you use?
we use regular milk and also have lactose free whole milk with no extra charge. it costs us a fortune, but it’s a health-conscious decision, given 68% of the world is lactose intolerant. we also use all other alternative milk.
do you sell other drinks or just coffee?
we sell a lot of special drinks non-coffee drinks that we’re proud of, like our strawberry milk, matcha/hojicha latte, earl grey peach ice tea, and many many more. they also come in our infamous smiley cups.
can i study in the cafe area?
yes we do let non-members study in the cafe area. however, it is a shared area with public people coming for our cafe so please be mindful of that!
